Some New Ways to Cut Down on Spam
Spam (unsolicited commercial email or "junk
email") can be such an annoyance. Who wants to receive
a bunch of email in their inbox that they didn't even ask
for? You have enough things to do in your life than to have
to wade through a bunch of bogus emails to get to the mail
that is actually important to you.
One of the main ways spammers get your email
address if you have your own website is by "spidering"
your website. They have software that scours the pages of
your website and looks for email addresses. Once the software
finds an email address listed on a web page on your site,
it stores it for future spamming use.
We have solved that problem for our members.
Email Form
We now have an email form that we can incorporate
into your website. People simply fill out the form, click
"submit", and their message gets emailed to you.
This way, no email address is listed on your site and people
can still contact you! Of course, you can still give people
your email address. It just won't be listed on your website.

ours and yours is that yours will not have the "department"
section on the form, of course.

Spam Assassin
We also have another cool service called Spam
Assassin. It virtually filters out all of your spam into a
folder called "spam". The only way to access this
"spam" folder is by accessing your email via your
webmail account. So, if you use an email software program
like Outlook Express to send and receive your email, as most
people do, then you will never see the spam! Even if you do
access your email via webmail, you will still need to go into
the "spam" folder to view it. And the great thing
about it is, the email in your spam folder is automatically
purged (deleted) every 30 days.

Spam Arrest
Spam
Arrest is a very cool service that stops spam cold. It's
100% effective and is very simple to use.
The way it works is when someone sends you
an email for the first time after you sign up, they are sent
an email from you with a link asking them to click on the
link to verify that they are a live person who is sending
the email. When that person clicks on the link, they are taken
to a page where all they have to do is type in the code that
they see on the webpage and click "Verify" (see
sample below).

After they type in the code that they see
and click on "Verify," they are done! And they only
have to do that once! From that point on, any email that they

find one that is valid, you can simply add that address to
